JUDGE NATHANIEL SMITH
Prior to taking office Judge Smith was the managing attorney of the Law Offices of Nathaniel L. Smith, P.C., director for Juvenile Court Legal Services, Inc. and Chief Juvenile Prosecutor for Coweta County Juvenile Court. He has served on the Board of Directors for Carrollton Main Street, Healing Carroll County Families, Inc., Community Action for Improvement (CAFI), and Advisor and Board Member to Carroll County Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA).
A Life of service over self
After graduating law school, Judge Smith returned to Carrollton, established his career, started a family, and shortly thereafter enlisted in the U.S. Navy Reserves. He strives at taking nothing for granted and showing appreciation for all the blessings of life. While serving in the U.S. Navy, he had assignments from the U.S. European Command Joint Analysis Center (EUCOM JAC) as an analyst for Sub-Sahara Africa to the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) and other agencies in the War on Terrorism as a US Navy Analyst and Operations Officer.
